I knew that Brian and Katie’s Boca Raton wedding was going to be nothing less than spectacular, right from the get go. Having photographed their Deerfield Beach engagement sitting, I had a chance to get to know them both. Brian was so much fun and words; well they can’t really describe how beautiful Katie is (inside and out). We had a great time at Deerfield Beach and caught some really great shots. I am so grateful to be the South Florida wedding photographer that they chose.
The wedding ceremony and reception was at my second home, The Boca Raton Resort & Club. We started off with Katie and the girls getting ready for the day in the Presidential Suite, how nice! Once everyone was dressed we strolled through the hotel finding just the right backgrounds to shoot against. Katie looked so beautiful and had the most gorgeous bridesmaids. It was like photographing models!
When I first saw Brian, on the wedding day, you could see the anxiety in his face. He could not wait to see Katie. He paced back and forth a bit and probably did not hear a word I was saying. It was like, “hey, get me to my bride already”. Without any delay we set up the most incredible location for their first l
ook.
Katie came walking around the path and right into Brian’s arms. They were like two magnets coming together. It was not difficult at all to capture their emotions; they were as obvious as their love for each other.
Next, we got the entire bridal party together on the Croce lawn. Their entire gigantic bridal party! We had some funs shots with them walking to the camera, etc. and then off to main hotel for their Katuba signing.
The ceremony was extremely elegant with the most gorgeous chuppa by Petal Productions. Raphi did an amazing job on the flowers and made my artistic shots complete. My only regret was that the Rabbi would not allow photographs at the ceremony (at all). I hated to have the bride and groom miss that completely, so I snuck a few shots off at the end of the isle without any flash. No one knew (please don’t tell).
The reception was held in the Royal Palm Ballroom at the Mizner Center. With the assistance of Ivette Savoie, the Director of Catering for the Boca Raton Resort, the reception was perfect. Katie & Brian truly had the flawless wedding! The ambiance, the décor, the food, the cake (what a cake), and great music – they could not have asked for more.
I can’t wait for them to see all the great shots and all those magical memories. I know that they will have a great heirloom wedding photography album and always remember how much fun they had on their wedding day with us.
